Trend setting, the art of rebellion
So I went to get some coffee and with my apparent taste for coffee I went to Peet’s coffee and the only place to get great Peet’s coffee where I live is Yuppie Bella Terra of Huntington beach. Besides the fact that I stuck out like a sore thumb, to which I have grown accustom to that, I started observing that these people are just buying and buying shit they really don’t need, at a time when i myself is trying to conserve money. A question came to my mind just then. Is buying rebelling, well the companies certainly want you to think so. I mean they are selling you deception.
Ok so then you have this knob who this distasteful segment to the right.
"Black Friday is almost here, so when you’re gunning for that baby-sit my children Elmo, remember Edmonton Oilers defenseman Sheldon Souray’s body-checking secret: Start low and drive your shoulder right into the middle of their chest. If they don’t give you a ‘Fuck you’ and are just groaning, give yourself a pat on the back."
So this shithead is basically validating that its ok to do what ever measure is necessary to get some stupid fucking toy! Another lesson for you mindless consumers not to believe everything you read. I don’t know about you pal, whether you worked retail or not (probably not) but black Friday is a tragedy for Americans. Its a day where people get hurt, and I am not talking about their feelings, cos they didn’t get the material possession they believe they need, or cos they could’nt get baby Johnny an EVIL ELMO toy! I am talking about the many people that get physically hurt or even dieing. Is some stupid toy worth dieing for? Well looking around as sad as this world is I guess so. For all you dense robots out there that have blindfold over their eyes that can’t see what worth dieing for I say ………..Count me out.
To the brainless writer of that excerpt, I say if I see you when I visit the real world I will start low and drive my shoulder right into the middle of your chest and when your on the floor groaning I will be laughing! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at your sorry ass!
